Thursday, again.

It's a cold, misty and foggy night. Beautiful, to its core. My mouth and nose exhales smoke, or fog. Whatever that smoky foggy thing is that comes out your mouth in cold weather when you talk.

We've just come back from the mosque of Jamkaran. Jamkaran is a beautiful place. Beautiful, because of it's overflowing spirituality. It's a mosque that has been narrated to have built on the order of Imam Mahdi (a.s), the last and twelfth Shi'ite Imam. It's a pity i don't write about the awesome places here.

From the past two days I've been following a new routine. It's a really nice one, Alhamdulillah and I'm proud i've been sticking to it. I plan to continue it, even though it is physically tiring. I've cut down on sleep. After waking up for morning prayers which is around 5.30 am these days, I don't go back to sleep (which I used to before) I stay up and try to do something productive. I have been making amazing breakfast, so Alhamdulillah I'm well fed and don't feel hungry during class while the others go gushing towards the furushgah (shop) on the bottom floor during breaks buying chips, and other unhealthy stuff. I love breakfasts. They're my favorite meal and I love eggs. I've made french toast, cheese omlet and sunny side up. Eggs are so much fun. French toasts taste especially good with cream, or a mixture of cream and honey. Yum.

Then, after coming back from class, I don't nap in the afternoons as well. That is a lil tiring. But if i do nap, i wake up tired and drugged. It takes me two whole hours and a lot of coffee to bring myself back to complete wakefulness, after which I have trouble sleeping at night, and waking up early next morning. Vicious cycle. Plus, if I do nap in the afternoons, i don't wake up anytime before maghrib (whih is about 5.15pm in winters.) I use this time to study, relaxing, and talking to A3.

A3 is a non-napper and heavy tea/coffee drinker. A3 is probably the person I like best in the khawbgah. Have I written about A3 before? Her thoughts are closer to my own than anyone else's. Plus, she always seems to be wanting to argue with me.

Tomorrow is Friday, a really busy day. Uggh. I'm gonna go to my sticky notes and quickly scribble my schedule for tomorrow. When will I just lay in bed and enjoy a good book, or just do something fun like making chocolate cake without any worries of class clouding my mind.. Wednesdays and Thurdsdays then happen to be the best days of the week for me. Less study load.

I will sleep now.
Shab be tun be khair!
(That means, you have a good night!)
;)

  1. I love breakfast too, it's my favorite 'meal' of the day! And it's never complete without a cuppa strong coffee! :D
