Our family in Myanmar

The Messenger of Allah (s): "The believers, in their love, mutual kindness, and close ties, are like one body; when any part complains, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever."
[Muslim]
"The faithful are like one man: if his eyes suffers, his whole body suffers."
[Muslim]
We all know about the plight that the Rohingya Muslims of Burma are facing. I'm sure we all have felt helpless and out of ideas as to how to practically DO SOMETHING to alleviate their suffering and take a stance against oppression. SubhanAllah, I'm still without ideas.
However, here is a petition. I only hope that a few clicks of our mouse can do *something* to help them. I honestly wish there was something more we could do. Please, please go here to sign it.

More importantly, do not forget them in your du'as. Before iftaar is one of the best time for prayers to be accepted, especially when those prayers are made for our brothers and sisters in Islam and humanity.
P.s- Reciting Salawat before and after one's du'as makes them more acceptable.

I find this part of a sermon by Imam Ali (a.s) quite striking given the present situation of the Muslims around the world.

"...Among them some will be unavenged martyrs and some will be stricken with fear and seek protection. They will be deceived by pledges and fraudulent belief. You should not become landmarks of mischiefs and signs of innovations but should adhere to that on which the rope of the community has been wound and on which the pillars of obedience have been founded. Proceed towards Allah as oppressed and do not proceed to Him as oppressors. Avoid the paths of Satan and the places of revolt. Do not put in your bellies unlawful morsels because you are facing Him Who has made disobedience unlawful for you, and made the path of obedience easy for you."
-Nahjul Balagha Sermon 151
