Today was the last day of class. The school closed for the semester.
It was a pretty good semester, I would say, considering the light class schedule. I still had to max out my haqqe ghaibat though (the amount of leave/absence we can have from class). Sigh.
Our exams start in less than a week. Oh my, i'm going to sleep in tomorrow. I want to wake up at 10 a.m have amazing breakfast, and start studying seriously. And do my laundry when I take a break. I need real barnamehrezi in my life starting from tomorrow, INSHALLAH! My first exam is nahw. I think i'm quite alright with it alhamdulillah. Just need to be really careful and attentive. I'm worried for sarf because I haven't studied a few topics at all. Inshallah if I just sit and study from tomorrow, I should be good, inshallah. I need to give my swimming exam too. The coach wasn't really that good so I didn't end up really most of the swimming strokes. Hate it.
I told someone today-
'I feel like i'm floating in the vast sea. It's currents are driving me wherever they want to. And I need to grab a tree or something (in order to gain control) or else i'll just be left gazing at the sky.'
Then she encouraged me to get my act together and I actually did a bit and sat down to study. I like the way I study though. In detail. That makes me leave things incomplete because I don't get enough time to finish it all in time. But that's how things should be studied. In depth.
There's this girl who is so sad. I asked her to do mubahise with me and she gave me attitude. I hate people talking to me like that. It drowns my good side.
So funny thing happened today at the cake shop (place I got the pineapple cheesecake like desert) This guy was trying to be cute from the start.
Cake shop guy: Are from Marakesh?
Me: No.
CSG: Iraq?
Me: No.
CSG: Arbastan?
Me: No.
CSG: Tanzania?
Me: No.
CSG: You're not going to tell, are you?
(I have to laugh now. Not because I wanted to but this was soo funny.)
Me: Nooooo.
(Just as i'm leaving)
CSG: South Africa?
Me: No!
This guy was proper flirting. Amusing. But sad.
