There will always be time for Rumi

He will give you hints to help you understand, and remove the burden of responsibility, but still provide the spirit of life for you to undertake. If you carry his burden, He will allow you in Heaven. If you accept His commands, He will favor you. By taking on these things, you become God's spokesman, and find union with Him. Free will is a way of thanking Him for His gift, but fatalism is simply it's denial. Be thankful and you increase your power to act freely, give up your power and you fall into the arms of existence, and your power is gone.

-Rumi. From mathnawi, book 1, The Lion and the Beasts.

This sums up my central thoughts concerning one's personal relationship with religion. SubhanAllah.
