One of the things said in the lecture today on the occassion of the birthday of the best man after the Prophet (S) to walk this earth, Amir Al Mumineen, Ali ibn abi Talib, was what a shi'a does on occassions of the happiness of the Ahlulbayt (s.a).
"He is happy. Even if there is grief and sadness in his heart, on that (happy) day, he erases its traces from his face and smiles for the sake of Ahlulbayt. It is a day to be happy."
Wishing all believers and especially the true lovers of Amir al Mumineen, the only man to be born in the ka'bah and die in a mosque in prayer, a blessed Eid!
:)
